Participation in EurMMAE General Assembly
Marek Herda – Vice President Candidate
During the European MMA Championships held under the auspices of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), the inaugural Elective General Assembly of the newly established European body, EurMMAE, will take place in Belgrade.
The Assembly marks an important milestone in the institutional development of European amateur MMA. The agenda includes the approval of statutes and the election of the Executive Board, including the President and Vice Presidents.
The President of the Slovak MMA Association, Marek Herda, has been nominated as a candidate for the position of Vice President of EurMMAE.

Účasť Slovenska na formovaní európskej štruktúry
Vznik EurMMAE predstavuje významný krok smerom k posilneniu koordinácie a spolupráce medzi európskymi národnými federáciami v rámci štruktúr IMMAF.
Slovenský zväz MMA sa v uplynulom období aktívne zapájal do odborných konzultácií a pracovných diskusií týkajúcich sa budúceho fungovania európskej platformy. Cieľom bolo podporiť transparentné, inkluzívne a dlhodobo udržateľné riadenie amatérskeho MMA v Európe.
Kandidatúra Mareka Herdu na pozíciu viceprezidenta EurMMAE vychádza z kontinuálnej práce Slovenska v rámci medzinárodnej spolupráce a zo snahy prispieť k stabilnému a vyváženému rozvoju európskeho MMA.
Medzinárodná spolupráca
Počas šampionátu v Belehrade sa uskutočnili viaceré pracovné stretnutia s predstaviteľmi národných federácií, členmi vedenia IMMAF a delegátmi európskej komunity.
Slovensko podporuje jednotnú a profesionálnu európsku štruktúru, ktorá bude rešpektovať rozmanitosť členských krajín a zároveň zabezpečí vysoké štandardy riadenia a rozvoja športu.

Slovakia’s Engagement in the European Structure
The establishment of EurMMAE represents a significant step toward strengthening coordination and cooperation among European national federations within the IMMAF framework.
Over the past period, the Slovak MMA Association has actively participated in consultations and working discussions concerning the future governance and operational structure of the European body. The objective has been to support transparent, inclusive, and sustainable management of amateur MMA in Europe.
Marek Herda’s candidacy for Vice President reflects Slovakia’s ongoing international engagement and its commitment to contributing constructively to the balanced development of European MMA.
International Cooperation
During the Championships in Belgrade, several bilateral meetings were held with national federation presidents, IMMAF leadership representatives, and European delegates.
Slovakia supports a unified and professional European structure that respects the diversity of its members while ensuring high standards of governance and sport development.
